Soccer Tours for 2012


If you are a coach and would like to bring your team on our Soccer tour, simply send in your request form, and we will organize everything for you.  We will make the airline reservations, Hotel accommodations, ground transportation, set up appropriate skill and age group competitions, organize sightseeing tours, we will even provide you with a list of "what to pack".  All you need to do is bring your team.

If you are an individual player, simply fill out the players application form.  We will organize you into the appropriate age and skill level team to compete on one of our individual player teams.

The itinerary listed below is our basic tour package, it can be modified to better fit the needs of your team.  Competitions will be scheduled to the fit the age group, gender and skill levels of your team.

 

Day 1 Departure from US for your overnight flight to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
 

Day 2 Copacabana Beach
Arrival is scheduled for this morning at Rio de Janeiro International Airport. Our local representative and a privately chartered motor coach will meet you and transfer the group to Copacabana beach for a four night’s stay.
After settling into your hotel, you will enjoy a city tour and in the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the local area or relax on the beach. Dinner will be at the hotel in the evening.
 
Day 3 Sugar Loaf
After breakfast, we will transfer you to your first practice. Following practice, you will visit the principal postcard venue of Rio, the Sugar Loaf. A two stage-cable car will take you to the top of the Sugar Loaf Mountain where we will have an astonishing view of Guanabara Bay, Copacabana, and Ipanema Beaches and the city. Then we will go for a walk on Ipanema Beach. In the afternoon we will visit the hippie market of Ipanema. There are many interesting leather articles and souvenirs to look at.
We will have dinner in a typical Brazilian barbecue house, where all kind of meats are served and cut into your plate.
 
Day 4 Game 1
After breakfast, you will play your first game of the tour against a Local Rio area team.

Dinner will follow the match.
Day 5 Game 2 and Christ the Redeemer

After breakfast, you will have your second game against a Brazilian team.
In the afternoon, you will take a tour of the famous Christ the Redeemer, one of the Brazilian landmarks. It is located at Corcovado Hill, where we are going to have incredible views of Rio de Janeiro and understand why it is so famous.
Tonight you will visit the Rio Sul Shopping. It’s time for shopping and to start looking for some gifts to take home!
Dinner will be in one of Rio’s restaurants.
 

Day 6
Game 3 and transfer to Búzios
After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and head to your third game of the tour. You will compete against another local Rio team and after the game, we will go to the city of Búzios (3 hours from Rio). Búzios is an ecological paradise and home of the most beautiful beaches in the state. We will spend the next 3 nights at a four star hotel located on Geribá Beach.
Dinner will be en route to Búzios.
 

Day 7 Sailing in Búzios
Today, we will have an unforgettable experience! We are going to take a day cruise on a sail boat around the Sea of Búzios. We will spend the day sailing and discovering the wonderful beaches around the area.

Dinner will be served at a restaurant in downtown Búzios and you will have free time to explore with a teammate.
 

Day 8 After breakfast, you will have free time to enjoy the beach of Geriba and the area of Búzios.
In the afternoon, you will travel to the city of Macaé (1hr 30min. from Búzios). This is headquarters of Petrobrás, the largest Brazilian oil company.
After settling in, take the afternoon to enjoy the city of Petrobrás.
Dinner will follow at a local restaurant.
 

Day 9 Quissama and Game 4
After breakfast, it’s time to head to the city of Quissama for Game 4. You will compete against a local Quissama team.

After the morning game, we will head back to the hotel to pack up and relax on the beaches. Then, in the afternoon, the bus will take us to the International Airport of Rio de Janeiro.

 


Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye to Brazil. After 10 days of volleyball, sightseeing, and fun, it will be time to take the plane back home to the US.
